This notice explains how Jambo Logistics E.A. Ltd uses personal data when you visit this website or ask us for a quote. We follow Kenya’s Data Protection Act, 2019 and, for visitors in the EU/EEA and UK, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. What we collect
- Quote requests: name, company, email, phone/WhatsApp, route, cargo details and any message you add.
- Messages: what you send us by email, phone or WhatsApp.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and time of visit, used only to keep the site secure.
Please do not include sensitive personal data (health, religion, ID numbers) in the form.

We do not sell your data, send marketing without your consent, or make automated decisions about you.
4. Who we share it with
Only when needed: our website host and email provider; Cloudflare (spam protection); and, if you become a customer, the customs authorities, shipping lines, airlines, transporters, ports and partner agents handling your shipment. Each handles data under contract or a legal duty.
5. International transfers
We are based in Kenya, and some providers (such as Cloudflare) operate worldwide. If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, your data is transferred to Kenya so we can answer your request. Where other transfers happen we use appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses.
6. How long we keep it
- Quote requests: deleted automatically after 24 months.
- IP address saved with a request: removed after 90 days.
- Customer and shipment records: kept as long as customs and tax laws require (usually at least 5 years).
7. Cookies
This website uses only strictly necessary technology, so no cookie banner is needed. We use no analytics, advertising or social-media tracking cookies, and our fonts are hosted on our own server.
- Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a form is sent by a person, not a bot. It processes technical data such as your IP address and browser characteristics and is not used for advertising.
- WordPress login cookies are set only for staff who sign in to manage the website.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If we ever add analytics, we will ask for your consent first.
8. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to withdraw consent at any time. Email info@jambologisticsea.com and we will reply within one month. You can also complain to Kenya’s Office of the Data Protection Commissioner or to your local EU/UK data protection authority.
9. Security
Data is sent over encrypted HTTPS, only staff who need it can access it, and the site is protected by a firewall, login limits and two-factor authentication.
10. Changes
We may update this notice from time to time. The date at the top shows the current version.
